Beschreibung:
Internationalen Studenten wird im Rahmen des Semesterprogamms "Study Abroad" die Möglichkeit geboten, für ein oder zwei Trimester an der Victoria University of Wellington zu studieren. Hierbei besteht die Möglichkeit der freien, semester- und fachbereichsübergreifenden Auswahl aus allen Kursen der an der Victoria University angebotenen Bachelor- und Masterstudiengänge.
Als Besonderheit bietet die Victoria University ein Rugby und ein Golf Study Abroad Programm an. Hierbei wird das normale Studienprogramm von ein- oder zwei Auslandssemestern mit dem Rugby oder Golfsport kombiniert.
Beim Rugby Study Abroad erhält man beispielsweise die Mitgliedschaft im Old Boys University Rugby Club, fünf Eintrittskarten für die "Super 14 International" Spiele in Wellington und eine Mitgliedschaft im Fitnessclub der Profis.
Das Golf Study Abroad Programm bietet unter anderem die Mitgliedschaft im Shandon und im Paraparaumu Beach Golf Club, inklusive fünf Unterrichtsstudnen bei einem PGA Profi.

Semesterprogramm der Victoria University of Wellington
Gebühren:
NZ$ 9.600 pro Trimester, für das Study Abroad Programm
NZ$ 10.700 pro Trimester, bei Wahl des Rugby oder des Golf Study Abroad Programms
Dieser Preis gilt für Studenten die Kurse aus den Bachelorstudiengängen oder eine Kombination von Kursen aus den Bachelor- und Masterstudiengängen wählen. Studenten die am Study-Abroad Programm der Victoria University teilnehmen wählen in der Regel drei bis vier Kurse pro Trimester (mindestens 48 Points).
Werden während des Study-Abroad Semesterprogramms ausschließlich Kurse aus den Masterstudiengängen gewählt, so zahlen deutsche Studenten aufgrund eines Abkommens zwischen der deutschen und der neuseeländischen Regierung die niedrigeren Studiengebühren für neuseeländische Studenten (domestic students). Hierbei berechnen sich die Studiengebühren dann nach den Kosten pro belegtem Kurs. Da diese je nach Kurswahl recht unterschiedlich sind, teilen wir die Kosten für diese Variante auf Anfrage gerne mit. Der Preis liegt jedoch in der Regel nur etwa bei einem Drittel des normalen Preises für das Study Abroad Programm.

Gebührenübersicht bei ausschließlicher Wahl von Postgraduatekursen
Voraussetzungen:
Deutsche Bewerber für das Study Abroad Programm müssen zum Zeitpunkt der Abreise nach Neuseeland das erste Studienjahr erfolgreich abgeschlossen haben. Um Postgraduatekurse belegen zu können, muss ein Bachelorstudium abgeschlossen worden sein oder aber die Bewerber müssen bereits das Vordiplom sowie weitere zwei Semester studiert haben.
Alle internationalen Bewerber müssen zudem ausreichend gute Englischkenntnisse nachweisen. Dieser Nachweis kann über einen der klassischen Sprachtests wie dem TOEFL oder IELTS erfolgen.
Unten angegeben sind die zu erreichenden Mindestpunktzahlen bei den jeweiligen Sprachtests zum einen für Undergraduate- und zum anderen für Postgraduatekurse.
Folgende Testergebnisse sind Voraussetzung für die Zulassung:
