Wallpaper, style and trends “icon” and Istituto Marangoni are pleased to present 3/4 Tre Quarti - Trois Quarts - Three Quarters: three quarters of a century of fashion and design conveyed during the celebrations of the Institute’s 75th birthday, through the eyes of two influential critics, Suzanne Trocmé - Wallpaper Editor at large and Clair Watson – one of the most prestigious fashion historians.

As a result of this exclusive partnership, the publication celebrates the history of the fashion phenomenon and relates how Istituto Marangoni developed from its foundation, to the latest creations of its most talented students. Great importance is given to their contribution, indeed, witnessing the precise aim, to put them under the spotlight and emphasize the emerging talent of our younger generations.

An excursion of the fashion universe during the past, present and future visualized through images of famous designers and the attestations of our young graduates. A review of the Istituto Marangoni viewpoint on fashion and also the way fashion directly influenced the school itself.

A section of the book is dedicated to the testimonies of some great protagonists of the international fashion system such as Giorgio Armani, Anna Zegna, Romeo Gigli and Antonio Berardi, who gave their contribution to this book, by stressing the importance of specific vocational training, in order to be successful in the fashion world.

3/4 Three Quarter - Trois Quarts - Three Quarters is a manual, a tool, whereby we pay tribute to the creativity, commitment and tenacity of all those who helped create and those who will continue to contribute to the uniqueness of fashion phenomenon. The volume will be published in a limited edition with a circulation of only 750 copies.
