ICMS wins NSW Premiers Export Awards

The International College of Management, Sydney (ICMS) has won the 2010 NSW Premier’s award for Export in the category of Education and Training.

In challenging times for the Australian education sector, ICMS was honoured for its ongoing commitment to education excellence and for the unique style of its education, which combines practical work and a strong theoretical foundation. This is the third time that ICMS has won this award.

Crucial to ICMS’ winning application is the development of a network of industry partners such as senior academics from key universities and institutions, industry associations and alumni. These groups contribute as advisors and strategic allies, ensuring that ICMS maintains currency and that our subject matter is contemporary and aligned with real-world needs and demands.

Managing Director, Mr Frank Prestipino said, ‘We attract about half of our students from overseas, this is only possible through the positive word of mouth we spread by delivering a unique and valuable education. As ICMS grows, we will also continue to grow the value that we provide to students, enriching the student experience and ensuring all students have the professional skills to ensure they are work-ready when they graduate.’

ICMS is now a finalist for the National Export Awards which will be announced in December.
